Leather Sustainability, Sourcing & Ethical Manufacture

The leather used to create Ineō products are genuine, high quality, leathers and have been purposefully sourced from tanneries and suppliers that only stock meat industry byproduct materials. This is where the farming priority is for food, and the animal skin is of secondary value. By subscribing to this circular economy and repurposing materials that would otherwise have been discarded, Ineō plays a small part in contributing to resource efficiency and waste reduction. Procuring these leathers, crucially, is integral to the sustainability and ethics of Ineō's items, brand and vision.

Why we are passionate about producing goods with real leather over, vegan, alternatives:

Genuine leather is known for its durability, resilience, and longevity. It ages beautifully and develops a unique patina over time which adds character and value to luxury items. Not only is the quality unparalleled, but when the leather does reach the end of its life, it is completely biodegradable and will naturally decompose completely over time - without the release of harsh chemicals.

All of Ineō leather is sourced from local merchants and all pieces are hand-crafted in London, adopting a slow fashion mentality. It was important for us to create variations of timeless staples, in core-tones, allowing us to transcend seasonal trends. We only create a limited supply of premium quality garments at any one time. Stock will only be created to fulfil demand, ensuring minimal waste.

We trust that a person who invests in an Ineō product will continue to wear it, with love, for the entirety of its functional life; should this not remain the case, we encourage the wearer to donate it, so another can continue the love of leather.
